This donation day MUST be the biggest yet. If it is small, Ron will not have the money in time for February 5th and worse, the media WILL spin the story of anything less than December 16th as being a sign of shrinking support for Ron.
Please CALL, E-MAL and TALK TO everyone you know, asking them to donate ANY amount to help Ron. Even if they don't support him politically, their donation will help the people of America prove that they do not like the media's bias and manipulation in regards to America's presidential race.
If possible, try to have them donate while you are talking to them and also ask that they help you spread the word about donating today.
And lastly, please keep this thread bumped so everyone is reminded that they should stop lurking here and make sure they're doing their best to spread the word :) ;)

Why should you, and why today?
Thousands of people across the country are banding together as I write this, donating as much as they can in a single day. We're doing so in an effort to support Ron Paul's message of freedom and prosperity before Super Tuesday on February 5th. But also, and in some ways more importantly, to send a message to the main stream media that "we the people" are sick and tired of their unfair and unbalanced presidential primary coverage. I for one, am utterly tired of watching the media essentially choose the presidential candidates for the people, rather than covering every candidate equally and fairly and letting the people choose for themselves.
