based on the numbers and how other moneybombs went, i calculated about this number. if you want to see it higher, donate more than the suggested $10 or spread the word as far as you can.

The headline "100,000 Ron Paul Supporters donate on Martin Luther King Jr Day" is more impressive then saying $x dollars raised. Don't discourage small donations.

Get friends/family members/casual supporters to donate! A $10 donation is fine by me.

1.7 Million? Pffff...gimmie a break. RP will break 5 million easily.

20,000 donors - $1.5 million
30,000 donors - $2.3 million
40,000 donors - $3.1 million
50,000 donors - $3.8 million
60,000 donors - $4.6 million

my guess from looking at the poll taken on this forum on how much people were going to donate

1.7 million would be great! Lets see just how long it'll take before we pass it ;)

Nothing's easy about raising 5 million dollars. Thats over $200k an hour!

that would be amazing, but with around $140thou for the first 2 hours, we'd need big surge as time went on

$10 donations are fine if that is what you can afford but telling people to donate $10 just for headlines is just nonsense. RP needs a lot more money than he has now to have a strong campaign.

I agree. We're past the point of doing money bombs for media attention. The media already knows we can raise money. The goal should be to raise as much money as possible regardless of media exposure.

I just wanted to note that I personally know lots of older RP supporters who are donating today, but will not be donating until they either get to work, or until they get home from work tonight.

We do have supporters with money who sleep at night too, guys...don't lose faith! :)

Unless you are GOD, quit making an uneducated guess on the results. This is not a fluent process!

Yeah, let's try not to keep making predictions or comparisons, but just GIVE, promote it, get others to give and be positive!! :)

When you cast a negative statement over something, sometimes it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, so let's just forget the comparisons, and do our best to give for LIBERTY today!!!

The stat predicts 2.7 million now.

But this will change. Things will slow down till 8 am and then pick up again.

I've got to say, even if everything in this video is true (I have only watched a 3 minutes of it and don't think I'll finish it), I highly doubt that many people are being swayed by this video.

If Ron Paul supporters can't get him to 5 million for the quarter by midnight tomorrow, we suck.

( We actually rock hard in my book and I know a lot of people have been donating to grass roots projects)

I spread the word where I could weeks ago, and donated what I could already about 20 minutes into the bomb.

I just ran around posting a bunch of reminders too.

I don't know what people expect Paul to do, going into super Tuesday short of the 23, mill they said they needed, and coming out of it broke.

Now that would suck!!!

I boldy predict when every supporter wakes up to read the email RP sent, we easily surpass 7 million dollars!

By the way, i don't like seeing these prediction just yet, this money bomb wasn't supposed to be anything, and its clearly shaping up to be one of our biggest days.

How ironic! That's exactly how much we owe the National Bank of Shanghai. Wow!

Seriously, let's all give what we can. We're all also doing other things to support the campaign in our own way. :)
