View Full Version : Pledge Here for Digg Bomb starting 5am

LBT

At 5am, we produce a new Digg page for this event. I can do it if no one else wants to.

Then we digg the heck out of it from 5am to 8am. This should get it high on the front page.

If we start digging now our story could leave the front page by the time people wake up and check digg for news.

We want to get a few hundred diggs within an hour.

Pledge in this thread if you will digg between 5am and 8am.

5am now and done:

This is a brand new MLK Day article that we need to digg rapidly to get onto the digg front page in time for the breakfast crowd.

To be effective you MUST FOLLOW THIS PROCEDURE when digging.

1. Copy and Paste the broken link above.

2. Click on the article headline so that it shows as having been read.

3. Then click Digg.

4. Then Favorite the article.

5. Then Shout it to all your digg friends if you have any.

Then get the word out like this (copy and paste my instructions) in other forums you know, meetup, myspace etc asap.

i suggest the original poster edits the first post with a list of stories to digg so people don't have to "dig" through the thread to find them hehe.

Okay, but with it give these instructions:

1) Broken link to digg that has to be copy/pasted
2) Users must click on the link to show digg the article was read
3) Then click Digg
4) THEN favorite the article. This is key to keeping the thing homepaged.

5am in what time zone? I'll digg it and send a shout out to all my friends on there.

I'm using the graph on Ron Paul graphs as my time zone. 5am is 3 hours 10 minutes from NOW.

I'm in Australia so I don't know your time zones;) At least I won't be sleeping.

Digg will be here for you all at 5am.

Any suggestions for Attractive Titles that won't get buried?

I was thinking something like:

"Raising Millions in Memory of Martin Luther King today. Help Out!"

Be forewarned, the Digg bury brigade reads these forums - they will be out in full force, especially since you've given them a heads up :) We should also try to post as many positive comments as possible immediately to keep the bad ones that will inevitably come as far down the page as possible.
