I have a serious concern...

Paul has even said this himself... "The message of Freedom is what brings us together"

Now with this knowledge... Will we remain together on this vary site or maybe another location? To try to take back this country peacefully if possible? I say we stay together and put Congressmen/senators on both the state levels and federal levels into office.

This must happen regardless of paul winning or loosing.

Regards,

-chris

This site is supposed to become LibertyForest.com for that purpose.

I don't know if the coalition will hold together, though.

Its better to address this issue now then after Ron Paul's victory or defeat. We must ALL realize this... There are some who don't realize what Paul is actually doing here. That is why I posted this.

I think this site, if it's going to saty up, no matter what, should NOT become Liberty Forest. It should stay Ron Paul Forums!

PLEASE KEEP THIS SITE, NO MATTER WHAT! I'll chip in for the costs.

Once we hear the message, and believe in it, there is NO turning back.. Congress is next.. Then the NEXT Presidency, etc..

Good question. i'm staying involved. i think half will. half will grab their marbles and go hide in a huff but they aren't generally the doers anyway.

we have enough numbers to sway things in the country now, even once the sunshine patriots surrender.

Perhaps we can become the American Society Betterment, thats dedicated to preserving the original intent for America, through better understanding, or an American Advocacy Group, that promotes the true values of a Constitutional Republic, or some kind of configurated organization that still supports noble endeavers, With so much support, resources, and dedicated indiviuals, it would be a shame not to continue with such a noble cause, maybe someday people will work for our endorsement.

Im here, in truth, there is nothing else I really want to do. I say I want to go teach english over-seas, and yet... in the end, I think politics has consumed my life, and my passion now is to simply try to spead the values of life, liberty, and the prusute of happiness. Anything else, the thought of such just seems...hollow.

If we lose? I say it's just 4 short years till the next election. I don't know if the good doctor will be up for another fight like this, he will be 76 years young. However, when all his predictions about our economy, and the out of control police state evolve, someone with a record of supporting his beliefs will need to take the helm.

I say get the Governor of AK to come out and run. Just think, she won her seat on ethics reform and exposing crooked politicians. If Hillary, God forbit, is president I'm sure Governor Palin would blow her out of the water. She's a young average mother of 4. Her husband is a commercial fisherman, can anyone say deadliest catch? I think she would pull in the vote from the feminists, the house wives, the college age boys and girls, and a lot of men that would just like to see someone easy on the eyes.

Anyways just my two pence.

I certainly hope this forum sticks around. I definetly like the idea of having an ongoing site dedicated to grassroots support of pro-liberty candidates and policy nationwide. Seeing how many people are interested in promoting the message of liberty has definitely inspired me to become more involved in politics. Hopefully this site will continue to grow even after the election.

I think it is pretty obvious that Ron Paul won't get the nomination. However, that won't stop me from trying to spread his message and getting the best results from the illinois primary. Like some one said in an earlier thread, we need to be ready to turn this campaign into an education of the United States to help spread Ron's message.

Careful now. The Usual Suspects will call you a troll and scream and cry for you to be banned if you keep up that kind of rhetoric.

Seriously, this thread contains healthy speculation about The Next Step if things don't work out, and I think its great. Effecting real change is a marathon, not a sprint.

Yesterday you could point your browser to libertyforest.com, and it forwarded to to these forums. There was also a Liberty Forest graphic in the upper right-hand corner of the home page. I imagine that they're testing or working on the site right now.

One thing to remember:

While this campaign is about the message, it is difficult to get everyone to back ONE person who is speaking that message. For now, it's Ron Paul. In the future, it may be more than one person... so while the political pull may be diluted, the message itself will spread. In either case, we're going in the right direction.

Yes, Ron Paul is our Guru -- he started this movement, it's his. And it should be named thus.

Hopefully, on November 5th, if Ron Paul doesn't win the election, there will be a candidate willing to campaign for the next 4 years. I mean the day after the election, in order for a non-major party backed candidate to have a serious shot at 2012. Whomever it is. 4 years of support and fundraising.
