"The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..."

THE MONEY MASTERS is a 3 1/2 hour non-fiction, historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure that rules our nation and the world today. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation, including America, has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers.

I've probably watched it 5 times. It is one of the official videos of the Ron Paul Revolution.

The producers have endorsed Ron on their website BTW... http://www.themoneymasters.com/

Yeah I just wish RonPaul2008.com would endorse the video and share it with everyone on their e-newsletter list. I'm sure it would create an out roar of determination and motivation to work harder and continue to push forward the Revolution.

I remember in this film that they mention that the gold standard put the colonies into a depression (or even recession).. I didn't watch the whole thing, so I'll get back to that..

It's still a great documentary and it's great for introducing the Federal Reserve banking system and monetary policy to those who are "economically challenged."

It's the best historical documentary I've ever seen. The solutions it proposes and some of the predicitions it makes are debatable, but it's presentation of history is comprehensive. One of the featured videos on the website in my signature.

I haven't watched it all the way through (really long)....but if it mentions that fractional reserve banking is ok, and that the gold standard is bad....yuck.

Still, just because a film has fallacies doesn't mean the whole thing is bad....their history on the founding of the Fed, how the "Redshields" came to power, and so on and so forth more than covers for their lack of economic informativeness.

I always recommend for people to read "The Creature from Jekyll Island" since it details the history of the Fed, the wars it has lead to/caused....plus, Ron Paul read it, and was listed on the back of the book :P
