a closed mouth gathers no feet, so I'm not going to lay down a prediction until I see the first hour or so of donations.

Let's hear your official predictions for the MLK MoneyBomb.

This is a hard one to predict because you could pledge $10. This was supposed to be a donor bomb. What was important was the number of donors instead of the amount of money.

I will be very pleasantly surprised if we raise more than $250,000.

This week was the lowest on record, and the promotion for this moneybomb was practically nonexistent.
The other two moneybombs have failed spectacularly.

On Benjamin's day, that originally was supposed to bring 23 million, there were pledges for more than $50,000. Yet almost nobody fulfilled their pledges, and it ended with less than $20,000 (regular donation day).

The weekly PayDay has pledges for $10,000. Yet last Friday brought just over $15,000 (no impact on regular donations).

In both cases, the pledges were above actual donations.

MLK has pledges for $100,000. Where could more than 1 million come from? I have no idea.

2nd place in Nevada should make the MLK bomb audible.

It's possible that people signed up for it, and then heard about the one that's tomorrow. So they decided to hold their money for it. Same with the payday. Could be holding it for tomorrow.

Yeah, it could be.
Although the PayDay was supposed to be completely independent of the rest of the moneybombs.
It was also supposed to bring $500,000 a week.

We will find out soon enough. In the big moneybombs, the initial spike was a very good indicator of things to come.

So, I'll be back with a new prediction at 12:05 am.
