Our government has lost focus of their primary responsibility to serve the public's best interest to viciously pursue an unsustainable agenda for revenue and control through unconstitutional DUI laws. Our corrupted policymakers have overtime passed legislation designed to progressively circumvent our constitution. Thus selling out the power over our free nation unto the dehumanizing wealthy global elite (the world's wealthiest 5% that now control 90% of the global assets; such as the media, insurance, prison, and rehabilitation industries...as well as the non-government D.M.V.s). They use manipulation and fear to persuade us to give up our freedoms for "safety".

For example, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) produces the data on alcohol-related traffic fatality statistics based on accident reports listing the presence of alcohol .01+ in the driver, passenger or bystander. The wealthy lobbying group MADD publically misrepresented this statistic to claim that 14,539 people where killed by drunk drivers in 2003 and this was the driving factor behind lowering the BAC limit to .08 from the previous national standard of .15. But those same statistics show that less than 13,000 of those accidents involved a driver with a BAC of .01 or more...with the majority of those accidents being the fault of a driver has whose BAC was above .15. So statistically speaking, there is a better chance of being struck by lightning while standing in the rain, than being killed on the road by a drunk driver. Or to put things into a different perspective, sober drivers are to blame in over 71% of fatal traffic accidents. Meanwhile, millions of DUI arrests are made every year; criminalizing non-violent offenders whom as the majority never commited a crime against person or property.

The FBI's Unified Crime Report states that violent crime, property crime, and crime against person have been declining for over a decade...yet our "free country" still leds the world in percentage of population imprisoned. This doesn't make sense, why is this happening??? Well a lot of it has to do with lobbying efforts to criminalize everything and make incarceration the fastest growing industry last year. Such as Section 163 of the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA-21) created $5M in taxpayer funded incentive grants for states enacting and enforcing a qualifying .08 BAC illegal per se law. But the real incentive that this provides in our already overburdened criminal justice system is for our law enforcement to go after the civil liberties of it's citizens. The prosecution team gets well funded and the public defense is understaffed...to become merely the prosecution's dealmaker.

How long will it take for us to realize the detrimental social and economic ramifications of these unconstitutional governmental actions against it's own people. How many good people will have to become criminalized and thrown into a vicious cycle of poverty before our middle class, the strength of our nation, gets completely destroyed. Ron Paul supporters are trying to stop this onslaught of government interference and oppression by supporting the candidate who wants to get government out of our face and off our backs. Enough is Enough!

"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."-Abraham Lincoln "
