Ron Paul Leaders,

(Feel free to forward this to your meetups)

Great News - This weekend Ron Paul came in second in the Nevada Caucus and won himself the opportunity for some real delegates for the Republican National Convention. Not only that, it is possible that he may have won many more delegates than expected due to the great organization Ron Paul had in Nevada. While Romney won the straw poll "popularity beauty contest" with over 50%, the reality is that the game is about winning delegates not just votes. So while Romney can use the straw poll win for propping up his electability in the MSM (Ron Paul can too as well if they pick up the story this week if we do a great showing with the MLK Money Bomb tomorrow), the reality is that Ron may have come across with the delegates win. Romney may have bussed in tons of support for the caucus, but they were only concerned with the straw poll, and many of them did not volunteer to become a Romney delegate, and when when they voted for delegates, many of them voted for one or two Romney delegates per precinct instead of their full set. Some even voted for Ron Paul delegates. Meanwhile, many Ron Paul supporters stepped up to the plate and ended up being a delegate with only one or two votes! My brother in Henderson, Nevada ended up being a precinct delegate just by showing up and giving a 2 minute speech about Ron Paul (which was the only one people clapped for). In March, all these delegates will vote for county delegates, who in turn will vote for state delegates for the national convention in June. In the end, Ron Paul may end up with more delegates than Romney!

As I said, this was only done with the great organization of the grassroots in Nevada. They worked earnestly by canvassing, canvassing, canvassing. The same is true in MI, where Ron came in 4th beating Giuliani and Thompson, again. It was shown that every precinct that had a precinct leader canvassing received twice as many voters for Ron than those who did not have anyone canvassing. If those dedicated grassroots people had not canvass, Giuliani could have beaten Paul. It happened again in South Carolina, where Paul came in 5th, beating Giuliani again.

We can beat Guiliani, even in New York. But there is only one way this will happen. You. Yes, you. You need to sign up at https://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassroots/signup.php and become a Precinct Leader. They make it very easy, with great instructions and training videos. It is easy to do and even fun. Some of you may be shy, but it really becomes second nature in no time if you are friendly and cheerful. You can also choose to call people and do lit drop.

The truth is, Ron Paul will not win if you do not canvass. It just won't happen. Many of you signed up because you believe in the message of the good doctor and believe he is our last hope. However, just surfing the Internet, reading about him in blogs, voting in online polls, and occasionally donating money may help a smidget, it will not generate votes. What generates votes is hitting the street, talking to your neighbors, and spreading the message. Don't be an Internet spectator and watch your freedoms and liberty disappear! Are you going to say to your children that you saw freedom die while you were safely behind the screen of your computer, sitting on your butt, and drinking hot coffee waiting for others to fight for freedom for you? Or instead, are you going to tell your grandchildren that you lived up to the traditions of our founding fathers, that you braved the cold, just like George Washington in Valley Forge, and confronted your neighbors, who were more dangerous than King George's Red Coats with their suspicious leers and stubborn opinions, and won them over with truth and liberty.

Are you an American or are you an AmeriCAN'T? Are you a quitter or do you really believe in Ron Paul's message? Are you going to watch as the dollar collapses, American loses its sovereignty, and the Constitution get dissolved, or are you going to fight? Are you going to watch what Americans in the past 230 years died fighting to save just go away, or are you going to be the GREATEST GENERATION EVER and make history?

Tomorrow, contribute to www.ronpaul2008.com/donate for the MLK fundraiser and then sign up to https://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassroots/signup.php and canvass for freedom.

HISTORY WILL NOT BE MADE WITHOUT YOU.

Steven Vasquez

Canvassing is it. The 7 trillionaires that are soon to help Ron Paul (NOT!) simply can't wield a sword bigger than you can by simply knocking on a few doors. Canvassing WILL win this election, not money.
