I'm very optimsitic, but if things don't work out as planned, Paul should announce an independent bid in mid-March.
I am beginning to think one reason for the precinct leaders is that if we can get 180k or anywhere north of 100k precinct leaders signed up... RP will have the infrastructure and volunteers in place for an independent bid. He will have a volunteer in place in every precinct in the country... and said volunteer will have 6 months to win his precinct for Dr. Paul before the November election.

Agreed 100%. Ron Paul could win NY if he advertises here. The message would be well recepted, it just needs to get out.

The best strategy now was proven to be effective in Nevada. Go where the enemies do not, and hit them hard.

meaning bypass florida. take the fight to them in maine, louisiana, south dakota, alaska, hawaii, etc.

Start things off right by donating in tomorrow's money bomb: www.freeatlast2008.com . Despite MLK's flaws, his message of freedom coincides with Paul's and associating ourselves with it will resonate with mainstream American's in a positive manner. Furthermore, it could have the added side benefit of dispelling the slanderous and ridiculous racist attacks on Paul.

Important as well!

One thing that sucks about CA is that the GOP has made the rules so independents cannot vote for RP. :(

i know that in illinois the primary election is going to be a big Obama-gasm, with super low turnout on the republican side...i think the muslim community around chicago can be huge for us...i am very excited about super tuesday here...

This is an awesome post. Everyone should be discussing this.

I plan on heading down to Illinois next weekend to help canvass.

Yeah, like he said in another thread, the campaign needs to go on an all out bum-rush for the next month+; through the primary in texas. They need to spend the money, and not sit on it, NOW! We are still in this race, and all money spent will come back two-fold in donations!
