That's what the establishment fears most, I think.

To hell with running for congress; unless you're really loaded. Run for State Rep... Money goes further, you have a better chance of winning, and it forms the basis of the next generation of Republican leaders.

It would take me $100k to defeat a powerful incumbent in the House, according to some local sources.

It might not take as much to beat someone unknown.

I am considering running for State gov. now though, especially since mine is broken worse than Washington.
