Does anyone know what happened to the Amy Allen video of the Ron Paul theme song?

There was a thread asking for pics for the vid a few weeks back, due jan. 1st or something.

Would be nice if someone in the know could give us an update on this, seeing that feb. 5 is right around the corner and a national celeb could really help out. (who needs two billionaires if you've got a smart hot girl on your side right? )

Did you guys like the song by the way? I liked it. Perfect for early morning radio, that drive to work to wake you up. If the vid's good what are the chances of it making mtv or something?

Edit: typo, should read "Aimee Allen"

Does everyone in America spell Amy, Aimee? Don't get me wrong, I love American things like freedom and Seinfeld. But when will you guys ever learn to speak English? :p

I'm curious too. I could totally imagine that song on pop radio.

Some of us in the industry were talking about this today. If you check her MySpace, all mention of Ron Paul has been completely stripped except the song in the MySpace player. It seems her label must have put some pressure on her.

Labels can suck sometimes...

Her MySpace has been cleaned up of everything not related to her music including the video on the RFID chip she had.

In case you guys are not aware, Myspace is owned by Rupert Murdoch. Does that tell you anything???

That would totally suck. So much for freedom I guess... Though she probably has bills to pay and shouldn't bite the hand that feeds her.

What a sad state this world is in when people that profess to want to spread the message of revolution can so easily be silenced by the people that pull their strings. Money does not only talk but it gets us to 'speak', 'sit', 'roll over' and 'beg' too.

Wow i guess she gave up.

That would be awfully sad. Anyone know who her contact to the RP revolution was? Would be nice to at least know whether she really gave up or is just too busy or something.

Though I thought once you support the revolution there is no giving up. ever. we know what will happen when we loose. maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. but if we can not take back our liberty with votes today, we shall certainly need to do so with ammo tomorrow.

have gun, will revolt :D

I doubt the song would still be on her page if she was not supporting Ron Paul. That song is priceless.

And, dare I say, she is quite a drink of water herself.

After doing some wikipediaing (why hasn't someone thought up a nice verb for wikipedia like they did for google?) it appears that the label that owns Aimee Allen, Elektra Records, is ultimately owned by Time Warner, the same people that serve us such lovely products as CNN (fox for smarter sheeple), Planned Parenthood (for creating more sheeple) and grey pie charts for Dr. Paul (I'm guessing simply to piss us off).

I sent her an e-mail asking politely: "what's up beatch?", hope she doesn't mind.

As much as I love her for doing it, I really hate the music to that song :(

Okay, this is probably off topic, but "drink of water" sounds more like an insult than a compliment. Water's... flavorless. But "drink of water" probably means 'refreshing'. Arr, I should go to sleep.

It's an expression. In other words, she's hot.

Okay, so he was trying for a more mature way of saying "She's hot". Gotcha. :)

Here is part 1 to the making of the video:

I am disappointed that the video never appeared as this campaign is sooo very lacking in promotional material with high production values. Given the high production values of Aimee's other work I had high expectations for the video.

Aimee has an absolutely fantastic sultry seductive voice.

That's a pity, thanks for posting that though. It's where I heard about it the first time.

Anybody out there from the grass roots that were helping her out know anything about what happened to the final video?
