I'm curious about how you guys will vote in the 2008 Presidential election. Absentee or electronic?

I'm probably going to vote absentee. Electronic voting makes me nervous.

I will almost certainly be voting absentee simply because I plan to be working somewhere other than where I am registered. Definitely for the primary, not as certain about Nov. 08.

I believe that in at least some states, the poll workers have to provide you a paper ballot if you request one. Anybody else know if this is right?

I may be overseas on the primary date in my state so in that case I will vote early.

Absentee is the way to go and I hope the campaign pushes it with the large % of young voters for RP this would help the totals as the young just haven't turned out in the past. Maybe RP's young support is motivated however !!!:D

How do you get an absentee ballot?

Go to your state board of elections and request an application. Most states have it online.

My only concern is how long it will take to count them. If I vote for a third party, for example, will the final vote count include the absentee ballots?
