A. Help our campaign - Paul will get a plurality of Thompson supporters

B. Hurt our campaign - Thompson supporters are neocon shills

C. If Fred Thompson's supporters stopped watching Law & Order reruns long enough to vote, their heads would explode.

It means Thompson will no longer be paying to keep RP supporters out of gun shows, so its a great thing!!!!

it will just make the gap between the media ordained candidate and the people's candidate that much bigger.

Thompson is and always has been a front man for McCain. It is the only reason he ran. It doesn't do us any good if he drops.

I think it would be good if he (or anyone) drops out. It is just one less person to confuse the regular voter.

One less person at the debates, which means more airtime for Dr. Paul.

I hope Huck gets beat here and drops out too.

And Rudy loses in Florida and drops out.

Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and McCain in the debates before Super Tuesday...yes...that would be ideal.

The McCain/Romney ticket vs Ron Paul....that is pretty much a perfect debate.

Ron can totally outdebate both of them. Huckabee was a preacher and had the gift of gab, but I don't see him running much further after losing SC.

Thompson is changing his Depends right now.

Some gun rights enthusiasts would come from Fred to Paul, especially if there's bad news on Iraq...
