No. The two forums were started within two weeks or so of each other. This one grew faster, if I'm not mistaken. I haven't lurked at the other recently.

I think it is a legit site, I am a member and went there regularly until I found this forum. Always seems that not much is going on over there. . .

It's a legit site. A lot of us went there last time we had server problems here. They were very welcoming.
