DemocraSay.com, a new social networking site, is looking for good writers who can pen original, thoughtful pieces to connect and engage a new audience, stimulate new ideas, and forge an expanded community of cross-industry experts.

Help us get this new site off the ground, see your work published, and earn occasional money in the process!

Here’s how it works: Each week there are Purse topics worth between $50 and $500. When you submit an original piece and receive the most community votes, you win the Purse. It’s that simple.

How long does your original content have to be? We certainly want it to be more than a few lines in length, but we’re not looking for dissertations. The rule of thumb is at least 800 words.

NEW PURSES ARE AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME. SEE BELOW FOR THE CURRENT MONEY-MAKING OPPORTUNITIES.

Join the democratic process. Get connected. Be heard. GET STARTED TODAY!

• Go to http://www.democrasay.com.
• Click on “start now!” and become a free, registered member.
• View the weekly Purses in the right-hand navigation bar and start getting your work published.

We look forward to your brilliance.

Sincerely,
The DemocraSay Team

I just took a look and they have a new purse up debating the healthcare proposals of the candidates.

the best debate wins $1000. Hey, make some logical point for RP and then donate the money to the campaign.

It sounds flawed to me.

What prevents someone from generating a lot of votes for their own article?

What if an article is insightful, but a majority disapprove of the content?

They limit the number of votes each user has, and verification is required to vote, so users can't just pile on votes.

They are not voting for candidates either, but rather the best dialogue. I think their objective is to cut through all the noise of the media and let people get down to the real issues.

I saw one thread where RP was represented by someone who didn't seem to be very articulate. I think it is important to make sure that in independent forums like this where lively debate is happening that RP have the best thought possible representing him.

Ok someone go write an article about RP stance, maybe Spirit of '76, and we will all go and vote and make sure that he wins. Then he can use the money for the campaign in whatever capacity he feels necessary.
