The US Constitution is a magnificent revolutionary document. The rest of the world was mired in the doctrine of submission to authority. Many still are.

Instead of obedience to kings and lords and gods, the US Constitution asserts that the highest authority is We the People.

The American Republic is not "One Nation Under God." It is "One Nation Under Law." The authentic national motto is "E Pluribus Unum," an afirmation of unity, not a declaration that we are under anything or anybody.

Americans true to the Founders vision do not bow, kneel, pray, beg or grovel. Those candidates are disgusting who debase themselves by trying to show themselves more religious than the others.

Ron Paul is the exception. He appears to understand that your religious conviction is a private matter. We need Ron Paul as president. No more Preacher in Chief. A president.
