Spreading democracy to the world!

Does anybody care to vote for spreading even more democracy into more countries?

Whenever you hear a politician talk about democracy, or spreading democracy, keep the following in mind. :)

Right below is the most honest definition of democracy, I think, ever:

Democracy, n:

"A government of the masses. Authority derived through mass meeting or any other form of direct expression. Results in mobocracy. Attitude toward property is communistic... negating property rights. Attitude toward law is that the will of the majority shall regulate, whether it is based upon deliberation or governed by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraint or regard to consequences. Result is demagogism, license, agitation, discontent, anarchy."

-- U. S. Army Training Manual No. 2000-25 (1928-1932), since withdrawn.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron." - H. L. Mencken

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759

Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide. - John Adams (1814)

"A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until a majority of voters discover that they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury. - Alexander Tyler

Democracy: Two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.

Representative democracy: Two thousand wolves and one thousand sheep electing two wolves and a sheep who vote on what to have for dinner.

Constitutional republic: Two thousand wolves and one thousand sheep electing two wolves and a sheep who vote on what to have for dinner, but are restricted by a Constitution that says they cannot eat sheep. The Supreme Court then votes 5 wolves to 4 sheep that mutton does not count as sheep.

Liberty: Well-armed sheep contesting the above votes.

Are you a wolf, a sheepdog, or a sheep? ;)

Sadly if you ask most Americans what kind of government we have most would say a democracy. Even though they pledge allegiance to the flag and say "and to the republic for which it stands" they don't have a clue. We are a constitutional republic not a democracy.

No, the form of government in the USA is a communist dictatorship.

The Federal Reserve and income tax destroy all pretense of a "free market".

Yeah you're right. I should have prefaced my statement by saying we are suppose to be a constitutional republic.:)

Democracy would not be good if you are the sheep at the table!

Democracy is a majority sheep voting for wolves, whom then eat the sheep.

A Republic are sheepdogs protecting the sheep from wolves eating the sheep.

Calling all sheepdogs!

I agree. And it's about to get even worse than "just" a communist dictatorship ... as if that's not already bad enough!

We're about ready to, as Ron Paul says, "slide into military dictatorship" ... something I don't think our Founding Fathers would have ever imagined.

Our "American Republic is in remnant status."

We're talking about this insane rape of our wealth and Liberty ...

It's time to call out all sheepdogs. Calling ALL Riflemen!

It's time to join the Revolutionary War Veterans Association.

"This country was founded and won by riflemen who fought and beat British forces. We invite all interested marksmen to learn the skills and techniques necessary to shoot proficiently; and then hope you'll participate in teaching and practicing with others so that together we can save this great land."

Sheepdogs, "Lock and Load." :D
