Thanks Xar, I didn't know the folks in the People's Republic of Maryland were getting that well known. Collins is good people. He is driving the effort in Maryland.

We have six Ron Paul candidates for Congress in our upcoming primary.

District 2
Rich Matthews (http://www.politickermd.com/ron-paul-supporter-challenges-ruppersberger-182)

District 4
(This is actually tragic, because they are going to end up splitting the vote and an opportunist who calls himself a "liberty candidate" who is also running as a Thompson delegate stands to gain as a result.)
Peter James (http://peterjames08.com/)
Robert Broadus (http://localpolitics.meetup.com/142/)

District 5
Collins Bailey (http://www.baileyforuscongress.com/)

District 7
Mike Hargadon (http://www.politickermd.com/another-paul-supporter-files-congress-197)

District 8
Jay Roberts (http://jayroberts2008.com/default.php). One on our own: robatsu (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/member.php?u=1597)

Keep in mind Maryland is a very blue state. We are trying, but getting even one of these guys in congress is going to be an uphill battle. If we pull it off we will be ecstatic.

@inibo: Can we encourage the one less likely to win of them to go to District 6 or 3 or somewhere nearby to raise our profile there?

Also, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to break those links. We want them to know where there hits are coming from and not trick them into thinking it's in-state support visiting their site.

@Patrick: Can you update your OP with the new people and bold the names?

This is great, the revolution has begun. If not Ron Paul for president, we can at least get some more like minded individuals in congress. Some much needed help for Ron Paul! We need to continue this grassroots movement even past the presidential campaign. We have thousands of people here that can continue to shape the future of America.

Well, it's kind of late for that, the filing deadline was in December. I know and like them both. I wish one would drop out, but I just don't see it happening.

Fixed them. I never meant them to be broken, I just did a bad job of cutting and pasting.

BTW, does anyone know the criteria for inclusion on http://www.paulcongress.com/Candidates.html? Is it strictly self-identification or is there any vetting at all?
