...and precinct captains?

I'm an active duty officer, and as far as I can tell, it's illegal for me (under title 10 USC and UCMJ) to participate in partisan politics to the extent of being a delegate or a precinct captain for a campaign.

My question is: Is there anyone else out there in the military who IS doing these things, and if so, is it somehow ok?

I'd REALLY love to support the effort in this manner instead of just writing letters and talking to friends.

I personally think that my oath of office MANDATES that I support Dr. Paul (I drive onto a major Air Force base everyday with a bumper sticker :) ), but I don't know if the legal team would see it that way...

Thanks for the work you're doing!
