Thanks for this. We can now see how heavily edited it really is.
Just another hit piece trying to disenfranchise us real conservative/libertarian voters.

Definitely some bizarre editing in there. I don't think it came across as badly as others are saying, though.

Now watch this: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/921337/john_cena_cnn_interview_edited_and_unedited_versio n/
Then tell me if you still think RP actually said that.

I think it's safe to say that, but it doesn't mean we're going to quit.

After reading all the comments on this forum, I was expecting a disaster, but you know... it wasn't that bad. The interviewer was pleasant and at no time did RP himself say he couldn't win.
Everyone should watch that prior to jumping of the bridge or into 3rd party run land or anything else that deviates from the goals of this campaign.

Two thumbs up.

By the way it is edited, we can't even be sure that RP's answer was to the question about him being able to win . The actual question might have been, "Is it safe to say that you have been doing better than you had hoped going into this?"

My nephew edited that clip. He is ten. CNN offered him 20 bucks to do it.

As I was watching this I got the feeling that this was made for radio rather than tv. But since this was shown on tv this is quite different. Have you ever seen a TV interview so blantantly edited? TV gives people a heightened one on one perspective, particularly with political figures, and is this, perhaps, a shot at illiminating the one on one perspective with Ron Paul?
Scary if this true.

Listen to the barage of negative language used:
"Down in the polls", "underdog", "enigmatic", "fringe", "a lone voice in the wilderness", etc.
And did you notice the lighting? No special lighting on Paul; All the lighting on the reporter.
CNN is no better than FOX!

you want to see what can really be done with editing? This one is funny (in a truthful sort of way)

MayTheRonBeWithYou,
How can you watch that and think that RP was conceding the race? Madness.
