My predictions for Friday, January 18th
1) The market will continue its 14% drop from October 2007. John McCain will add New York to his list of states in recession (for a grand total of 2) - saying things seem confined to the New York Stock Exchange and not the broader economy.
2) TNR will come out with a new "batch" of newsletters, citing the worst of the old ones and a pull-quote from one in 1996 where Ron Paul states "he doesn't like Chinese food".
3) Rudy Guliani will notice that Saturday is 1/19 which is very close to 9/11 and so you should vote for him.
4) Mitt Romney will continue to spend his children's inheritance and NOBODY will notice the irony.
5) The power grid around the treasury will experience rolling blackouts as the treasury building printing presses get cranked up to 11.
6) The media will continue to ignore *he who's name shall not be mentioned*
