Hey...I've been trying for quite some time to find a FREE program that lets me SAVE TO MY IPOD documentaries from Google Video/Youtube. The focus here is on Google Video, because I like having single piece videos on my iPod. I am trying to get Zeitgeist and Endgame on my iPod. I don't care what you think of the subject matter in either of them; I just want them. They are videos that don't have the Ipod download option, which angers me. I have Terrorstorm...what gives, Alex?

I have tried several different things and somewhere, something is always not right. Right now I have Jodix free ipod video converter on my desktop...and I've tried others. Whichever one I last tried (don't remember, really), it would download the video and then was just not compatible or whatever with iTunes...it didn't recognize the file type or something.

So I either need some kind of easy one-size-fits-all that WORKS, or a bit of a lesson on converting the file types. Probably both.

Thanks to anyone who helps me out here.

Convert (FLV) files you downloaded from google video to WMV format or any other format. Then use the Jodix program to convert it into iPod format file.

try: http://media-convert.com/ or http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/super.cfm for conversion.

Okay, I'll try to utilize your advice, but what should I use to DOWNLOAD in the first place? The two videos in particular I'm talking about have removed the convenient button that downloads for iTunes, which is why I'm in this mess to begin with.

Does this do Google Video as well?

I think so, it handles all flash video files.
