Ben Bernanke is going before Congress today to speak about the economy. I have always enjoyed Ron Paul tearing him a new one. Does anyone know if he will be there today? I hope so.

I hope so too... but I think he may be in SC.

To bad no one else in Congress will stand up to the banksters.

WoW... Too bad Ron Paul couldn't be there. He would of been all over the MSM especially with the economy tanking.

I'm sure Ron will issue statements/denounce the Fed's recession in interviews or something. He's watching right now, gritting his teeth, I know that much.

I'm sure the Fed chairman was scheduled in congress with an eye on Rons commitments.

Ben just stated what Ron Paul has been saying all along. "We need strict fiscal responsibility". What comes in has to equal what goes out.

JEEZ ! That makes sense !

The Feds are considering a .75 point drop in rates.

Fight inflation with inflation, yeah that's the ticket.

We're already in a damn recession.

I wish somebody would run up there and kick Bennie square in the nuts.

Holy shit, that would be devastating.

But at least I could refinance my house and lower my payments, and possibly get a new car with a lower payment and shorter term. That would be cool... until I get canned from my job.

A 0.75 rate drop and I think the chinese will go ape-sh!t. Inflation then has the chance to go into a sudden/dramatic change.

Oil could go to 110/120 a barrel.

I wrote to the federal reserve asking them to at least hold rates, if not raise them. It perhaps is meaningless in effect, but Id made me feel a little better.

Here is the link to do so if you want it. Just change it from "general inquiry" to "Comment for board members"
