As a member of the LDS church, I can say this man is an embarrassment to our religion. Politically, he has not been true to mainstream "Mormon" beliefs. Pro-choice, gays in the Boy Scouts, torture? I seriously doubt you could find even 1% of Mormons think this way.

I also am Mormon (LDS) and I believe many Utahns and other LDS supporters think that it would be "Neat" to have a Mormon president. Many Mormon's are overly concerned about appearing mainstream and popular.

Anyone that votes FOR Mitt based on his religion alone is just as despicable as anyone who would vote AGAINST him based on his religion. A candidate should be supported based on his principles, not his or her religious affiliation, race, or any other irrelevant thing.
