What about the MLK money bomb...

What about the MLK money bomb...

We can have, or need to have, 2 moneybombs. People are getting paid tomorrow and will be recharged for MLK day.

Plus MLK day is not as big a pledge. Personally I think it's about donor turnout.

The campaign needs it, I'm donating to that one as well.

Not as big of a pledge? It has nearly 10x the pledges this one has.

It has more pledges, yes

I said the pledge isn't as big. As in, today's pledge is $100, MLK day is only a $10 pledge.

I hate to admit it, but my concerns are growing... :(

It seems like over half of the daily donations are from new people. Which means most of the hardcore RP supporters either maxed out, are broke college students, or have stopped trusting the campaign.

This, coupled with the fact that our daily average is fairly low, means we're not doing our job of bringing in new support.

It'd be a damn shame if this train got stopped from lack of money. We're capable of amazing things when it comes to money.

So much for another 23+ million, though.

I'll be maxed out at $2300 after the MLK bomb, I hope those new donors recruit newer donors. I'm doing my part as a precinct captain, but I've run into a few people who are saying that they can't justify donating to the campaign until they see some higher poll numbers. Sad, but true.

Hopefully menthol patch can drum up some cash for Paul today.

Thank you! Ronpaulgraphs hasn't updated since 2:03 AM with $1800 raised. Curious to see how much it has jumped once it updates.

I don't see any significant effect. Quite the opposite:

Looks like it became a big problem after Iowa. Many people stopped donating and even more stopped after NH...Paul needs to hit at least strong 3rd for this pace to change IMHO.

He's probably the most ignored (as in forum options) person on the board :p
