Here is a way to get 250 Ron Paul hand outs for $5.25, they are business cards that you can hand out to everyone you see.

Step 1: Go to http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/bcfree.aspx?xnav=TsrItem&xnav=TsrImage

Step 2: Select Page 4 for the American Flag design.
http://www.stateofbrain.com/images/flag.gif Step 3: Select the American Flag Design

Step 4: Fill in the blanks like so:
RonPaul2008.com
Vote 4 Republican Dr. Ron Paul
Brief Overview
Never voted to raise taxes Never voted for gun control (<-- Copy+Paste exactly like this for 4th entry)
Never voted for unbalanced budget
Never voted for congressional pay raise
Never voted to increase government
Voted against Iraq War
Voted against Patriot Act
Voted against Internet Regulation
He is Pro Privacy & Pro Habeas CorpusStep 5: Sign your initials in the box and go to the next page where you fill out your information. You will need to provide an email address.

Step 6: Select "250 Free" and click next. Select shipping. You need to select "Slow: 21 Days - $5.25"

Step 7: Select paper type "matte", then select back of card "Free Printing"

Step 8: Enter all your details and just skip their offers. Your final screen should look like:

http://www.stateofbrain.com/images/nolabels.gif

If it says more than $5.25 on the "Accept Without Labels" choice then go back and make sure you didn't add anything.

Step 9: You're done!

All they charge you for is the Shipping and Handling ($5.25) for 250 cards.

Please take 15 minutes out of your day and do this, Dr. Ron Paul is on a time limit and the clock is ticking. If you have any questions please post. I have ordered mine and they are on the way. Shipping takes 21 days, so get your bottom in gear!
http://www.stateofbrain.com/images/card.gifOf course if you are handing them out in a Democratic populated area, you can change:

"Vote 4 Republican Dr. Ron Paul" to "Vote for Dr. Ron Paul"

Let them figure out he is Republican after they like him.

That is a really hard deal to beat. You could buy $10 worth and just walk around for a couple of hours, even if only 10% take note that would be 50 more people who could spread the word.

1000 of 'em are on their way to my doorstep (14 days, since it was only $3 bucks more than 21 days). Also added a backside to mine for $9.99.

Nice! After placing the order, I received 500 bonus cards for only $3.74.

Total for 1500 cards, with backside, shipped to me in 14 days: $44.67, or about $0.03 a piece.

I actually got mine in the mail today. Shipping said 21 days, but it only took 8.

I highly recommend getting more than 250, these are a great way to spread the word.

Does anyone have a PDF or other file that can be used by folks at home to print their own cards or flyers?
A ream of copy paper goes for about 5 bucks, so that would be 1000 half page or 2000 quarter page handouts / windshield flyers that could be used to get the word out for about $15 including ink.

Just a thought,
eb

Alternately, somone has designed a card specifically for Ron Paul, complete with his Picture for face recognition. These are double sided and as low as 4 cents each if you buy enough. Go to the bottom of this page: http://www.libertytalk.com/liberty_card.php

Great idea!
I took your design as an inspiration and made some changes that I think will appeal to the community in my area. I added a picture and added a statement from Ron Paul's website to the back.

I ordered 5000!!! They're cheaper in bulk (only 2 cents each with shipping and everything)

If anybody wants some of these design, e-mail me and I'll send some to you.

Instead of donating to me, donate to Ron Paul and hit the streets. Find the people who are upset about loss of liberty, neocon foreign policy or taxes that steals the future of our grand children.

I'd suggest complementing these witha Ron Paul t-shirt, so when people see in big red letters "Ron Paul 2008" they ask "who's ron paul" or "what does that guy stand for" or "how is that guy going to save this country?" etc, you tell them a bit, and hand them one of these handouts for more info. Its a nice way to prompt people without actually aggressively passing handouts everywhere.

ronpaulitician
05-26-2007, 02:54 PM
Exactly. I put a bumper sticker on my work station's monitor. "Who's Ron Paul?" someone asked the very day I put the sticker up.

I think we should think about getting a bit more organized in regard to the shirts, business cards, etc. I'm sure one of the Ron Paul supporters either owns and operates, works at, or knows someone who works at, a printing shop that procudes such items, and we should be able to standardize our approach. If we all wear one and the same shirt, all hand out similar business cards, etc., and get all those items in bulk, we can be more efficient and more effective.

Leave a Ron Paul "business card" on the table with your tip at restaurants, in the canister when you go through the drive-through at the bank, on community bulletin boards like at schools or grocery stores, on the treadmill at the gym, on tables in the waiting room at doctors' offices, and anywhere else you can think of!!

I didn't get that. :( I got an offer of 250 for $7.49, with free shipping. But I didn't spring for the backside either.

I'll take the free offer again though - it's better than that add-on.

I had to adjust JoshLowry's design a little. That "line 4" trick didn't break right for me, and I decided to omit the gun control line altogether, because this is the heart of liberal land.

I'm ordering 10,000 for $163.51 ($0.016 per card) with the following text:

On the front:

RonPaul2008.com
Vote for Dr. Ron Paul
Brief Overview
Voted against Iraq War
Voted against Patriot Act
Never voted to raise taxes
Never voted to increase government
Opposes Internet regulation
Opposes War on Drugs
Opposes torture
Supports non-interventionist foreign policy
Supports habeas corpus

On the back (additional $9.99 flat)

for articles by Congressman Paul visit
www.ronpaullibrary.org

Live in California, and think the "Opposes War on Drugs" will go over better than "Never voted for gun control". Had to leave the "congressional pay" and "unbalanced budget" out because of character length issues.

Go Ron!

I am from the deep deep south where the war is not extremely unpopular. We claim to like states rights and small gov (yet somehow still think Bushie fits this)......

So can someone give your opinion on this card appealing to southern conservatives? I am about to buy 10k and dont want to have zero other input.

Suggestions are not only welcomed, but asked for.........

Yea, I would change the title as well as adding something about taxes.

I had a few people ask me what he was running for. I didn't realize I forgot to say that til after I had them.

Put 'For President in 08' or something to that effect on the card in a prominent position.

My cards were handed out easily, but I don't know what people thought about them. They should go fast. ;)

Now in the cart they go, in the mail they come, to the group for distribution they will go.

something on the side though:

I still think people need to be aware that this company is known to do fraudulent charges to credit cards.

From what I read, they steal your information at the checkout page where a survey pops up. Whether or not you fill out that survey your information is taken.

5000 from Vista Print. Custom front/back w/ picture. Very good job. Only thing to point out is that the writing does not show up as well over the blue part of the flag in real life as it does on screen. So keep messages towards the white!

They separate their cards into packs of 250, if anyone was wondering for group distribution.

Other than that, great job. I ordered last week and they got here today. The ETA was next month!

I would recommend these jobs from my experience w/ them. But I have yet to come across those fraudulent charges talked about above; if such happens that will change my mind!!

I've ordered these free things from VistaPrint before. You ARE automatically signed up for their service membership crap, and WILL be charged $10 a month. But, if you call when it first shows up, you can raise a shitfit and they'll unsubscribe you and refund your money.

P.S. People should work together on these. The more you order, the cheaper they are. Also, they always have "order more" offers a few weeks later that let you restock for around 1/3 the price.

Just sayin...

If you meet a hottie who asks for your number, give it to them on one of these bad boys! You know they'll look up info on Ron so they can ask you good questions when they call. And these are also great for those fish bowl contests you see everywhere. Stick on an address label, drop it in, and get the word out on Dr. Paul.
