I just found this and did some quick research. I'd never heard of him before... apparently he's raised billions of dollars in the past... could this be our rebel billionare?

Viguerie is not a billionaire by any stretch. And he hasn't raised billions. That's also a huge stretch.

He is a pioneering conservative direct mail maven.

I'm not sure 'respected' is the word, but he's definitely established.

He could be doing this because he believes in Ron Paul. Or he could be doing this because he's amazed by the willingness of the members of the r3volution to put their money where their mouths are...
