I have a friend in Vancouver looking to obtain bulk quantities of freeze-dried/dehydrated food in Canada, like the Walton Feed company we have in America.

Do you know of any companies, within Canada, she can contact?

If your friend is interested in preparedness and you'd like a list of regular grocery store foods and their estimated shelf life, PM me. I put one together based on info in the book Making the Best of Basics for a friend a while back, happy to share it if there is interest.

hit the library. study the plants and animals in your biotic province... get maps of country roads, a copy of each county for each season and seek out wild food.

start by marking where you find any food... in time, you can narrow it to where you find the best food... in times of trouble, should you keep all of your maps, you'll never go without food.

there is enough to eat out there rotting on the vines and fence lines to feed the world four times over.
