There are two possible ads, small and large. Each would ask people to vote on February 5. Each would give credit to bay area ron paul meetup groups unless the buyer prefers otherwise.

If someone actually wants to purchase the ad, you would do it through the paper itself, not us.

Price quotes are below. Email ca4ronpaul@yahoo.com for more information.

You should set up a chipin for this.

You should set up a chipin for this.

I'm not sure we have enough time to collect small amounts. We only have 24 hours.

I thought I'd throw out the possibility if someone wanted to call the newspaper and purchase the ad directly.

I'll be working with other meetups closer to the where the ad would run to see if I can drum up support.

If people want to contribute $100 or more, it seems that working with the paper directly would be fine. They would simply have to take cc info from 10 or so people, depending on what's purchased. They should be willing to do that, huh:confused:

I'll be happy to coordinate.

Please let me know if you have any interest in any of these ads. Perhaps I should start a chipin.

A few of the deadlines are tomorrow at noon pacific time.

I thought I'd throw out the possibility if someone wanted to call the newspaper and purchase the ad directly.I will bump this because of that one line.

It would be a good idea to post info on how to get the money DIRECTLY to the paper for this, and how you can tell them what specific ad to run, like if they have a ID number for your artwork or something.

And also if people can partially pay with a credit card directly to the paper. (no "chipin account", anyone can create that)

We know it's not a scam this way, and anyone can confirm the phone number etc.. by going to the papers' web site.

It doesn't have to stop with this one day. If other people who know how to generate artwork could do this in other towns it could really help.
