Really? It's too late? Not according to the NH media.

On a side note I've never thought the recount is worth it (sorry just my personal opinion).

You call BS? hehehe

She said that the fee is being paid by a donor, the sec of state of NH said the recount will go through, and that they are close to getting paypal to release the funds.

Wrooonnng!!! There is no law indicating that they had to pay everything upfront by yesterday.

They only had to pay the initial fee by last friday- $2000.00

Granny said they basically begged and the SOS gave them until today to get the funds submitted and that a 'donar' is covering the $$$ and then they Grannies are going to pay it back from the Paypal funds once they're released. Granny also gave out some contact information as evidently they've been using a debit card for things like gas and THAT account is frozen too ( I didn't catch whether she was talking about a seperate bank account or Paypal debit card linked to the Paypal acccount ;-(

That I am, no doubt. But I'm not sure if that's the reason.

Women that even know we have a constitution are rare enough. Women that understand it and support it are one in a bazillion. Maybe it's the uniqueness that fuels the desire? ;)

Sadly, I can relate to what you're saying. Most days I am honestly ashamed to be a member of the 'fairer sex'. Most are sheep and only care about who or what they can get the most 'security' from and are either totally uninterested in freedom or are scared out of their underall by the prospect of having to take care of themselves! The very fact that most women ALWAYS vote for either the most liberal candidate or the candidate that they think is the 'cutest' drives me BATTY!!!

I think we are more like:

It is sad. American women used to be strong. What happened?

They kept this country's head above water during WWII. Now, most of them would be the anchor that drowns us.

Here's they way I see it:

The Political Spectrum

TOTAL Government...........LIMITED Government........NO Government
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Socialism.........Democracy.............Republic ...............Anarchy
.................................................. .......X.......................................... .......
......................................We Were Here in 1776..................................

We are somewhere between Democracy and Socialism now. Of course, once that collapses, we'll probably be looking at a dictatorship before we see another revolution and can get back to a limited government Republic :(

I think the powers that be have finally realized that the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world :( If they can keep the women brainwashed and engrossed with trivalities, the following generations will be also.

The good news is that this new generation coming into voting age is not as dumbed down as I would have thought. They are the fire behind the RP R3volution.

Thank God for them!

Absolutely!

And thank God for the INTERNET! How the hell else would we get the real news?

I think that's part of why today's students are not as dumbed down, they get their news from sources other than the MSM.

Oh, and I'm equally as disappointed in many of my fellow females, too scared or uninformed, not sure which.

I have a 14 year old daughter. She's not too interested in politics, yet, but I keep feeding her a steady diet of Constitutional Pablum, so that when the time comes that she does become interested, she will have a solid foundation.

I only woke up myself about 10 years ago. I saw what a mess my generation and the one before it has made of this country and I swore, I would do everything I could to fix this so my kid won't have to deal with it later.

Ten years of frustration is all I had to show for the effort. Now the generation I was hoping to save from our mistakes is taking up the slack and bailing us out. Not only that, but making us (well at east me anyway) look like a rank amateur. lol

NO NO NO. Sheeple are all over the god damn place. There are plenty of men that vote for a candidate they think is the "cutest." They just don't say because they are pathetic.

Have you heard "men" that say that a candidate looks very presidential? Sheeple come in all sexes and colors.

The internet is where I got my first real dose of what shape the country is really in, sometime early in 1998.

Since then it's been my only source for "real" news, and it taught me to really see the main stream propaganda for what it is.

Being awake is both a blessing and a curse though. It would be nice to be able to stick my head back into the sand every now and then. lol

No doubt there are tons of men that fall into the pathetic category.

My only point is that there are not too many women that REALLY believe in the founding principles.

I have two children in their early twenties and one who is 8!! Funny thing is, I did exactly what you are talking about doing with your daughter and now NONE of the neighbors will argue politics with the two older kids because the they (the neighbors) say my kids know so much more than they do!! Now, the neighbors and friends just ask them for advice!! Too funny considering most of our neighbors and the parents of my children's friends are all in their late-forties or older!!

Of couse, WE must be well-informed in order to pass along that knowledge to our children because they're certainly not going to get it in school (even the private ones). I watched the last debate with my son and his girl-friend and, of course, I was pointing out where all the other candidates were lying thorugh their teeth and giving commentary regarding history after Dr. Paul's comments. After the debate went off, my son commented that everybody needed one of me sitting with them so they'd know what was really going on regarding the comments!! I got a HUGE kick out it for some reason. Made me feel like I'd done a pretty job raising my young 'uns. :p

Both he and my daughter (she's my 'middle' child) are converting folks right and left where they work and both have pretty extensive personal networks. Needless to say my children are my pride and joy for a number of reasons!
