Wouldn't it be great if they put together a Ron Paul hit song that could get played on the radio? I know it is just a fantasy...

RATM will it might emotioinally fire up the 18- oh lets go as far as 40....42 crowd anyone older would be turned OFF by their sound.

And if you go look at the demographics from last night and IA and NH you'll see it's the 45-60 segment that is coming out as the largest voting block demographically.

They (well the bassist) burned an American flag on stage at Woodstock '99. Makes me wonder where their heads are at.

Indeed they did, at Rock The Bells!

I was there, and it was AMAZING!

I actually told some people about ron paul that day too, and likely gained couple of voters.

If Rage did a tour for ron paul, that could seriously double our support!

They are freedom fighters, if they are made aware of him, i am sure they will at least make a comment on him!

RATM wouldn't support Ron Paul, unfortunately. The guys on South Park would though, hopefully they will come out for him.

yeah, just what we need, a bunch of multi-millionaire commies

Against the Machine?, they're part of the machine with their collectivist claptrap. It might have appealed to me when I was 12, but my political philosophy has matured with age ;)

If you consider Communists/Socialists to be "freedom fighters", well then, I guess so.

I would love to see a South Park episode with Ron Paul. Favorable to RP of course.

Even a negative Ron Paul episode would be a net positive. Getting his name out nationally.

If its not about the Zapatistas in Mexico(sp?) Zach de la Rocha doesn't care.

They support personal liberties and freedoms and ending wars overseas. So we could come together over those ideas but they do have a very different philosophy then Ron Paul.

The young vote just isn't coming out to vote so I doubt it will help.

I like Rage, but I couldn't imagine a more useless endorsement. Trying to appeal to young people is good for grass roots efforts, but on election day if those youth haven't been working to attract adult voters, then the effort is lost. History has proven again and again, no matter how important the election is to their generation, youth don't come out to vote in large numbers. Just look at 2004, when the idea of a draft hung over their heads, and they didn't turn out to defeat Bush.

Bush actually spoke out against a draft.
