Can anyone find out how much cash he currently has on hand?

Based on expansion of new offices and hirings, and given how much was spent in the 3-4 states so far... I think they're sitting on right at 17.5 million.

More than any other Republican candidate besides Mitt Romney (who just writes himself a check whenever he wants it).

I like it. I'd love a picture of Ron with a pile of gold though! Seems funny seeing Dr Paul in front of a bunch of Federal Reserve Notes that are becoming more and more worthless by the day.

No way. He's definitely got more. Probably closer to $17 mill.

But with the inflation trend, that's only like 50 cents next week....

DONATE the 21st!

Visit Road to $23 million (http://www.geocities.com/francisklinkner/ronpaul.html) to get a big picture view of how we are doing.

Although not very encouraging. $21m short

I doubt the campaign has more than $8 million on hand. All the advertising being done is prepaid and he's been doing quite a bit.

But crappy ads don't win elections and everything I've heard or seen, fail to resonate with people. There's no "Why you should vote for me and not the other guys in any of them"

Why is it that Huckleberry can blatantly rip off a Ron Paul position and make it sound like his idea? It's all in the packaging folks.

well, the definition of a huckster is a person who uses overly aggressive and showy tactics when they sell something, in this case, the Hucksters better at selling Pauls position better than Paul himself.

That seems to be a problem that needs a remedy.

I hope he's spending all that money even if he's not winning with it...that is what the money was for not hoarding it.

Yesterday Jesse Benton was on the Alex Jones Show and Ron Paul Revolution Radio. He said that the Campaign would report to the FEC that as of January 1st , they had about $8 million cash-on-hand,

Having started the 4th quarter with $5.43 million on-hand and taking in $19.764 million from Oct. thru Dec. 07 the campaign had roughly $25.2 million in the bank before counting expenditures. Based on Jesse's statement the RP Campaign spend about $17.2 million in the 4th quarter or an average of $5.75 million per month.

My educated guess with Super Tuesday and its ' approximately 20 States holding primaries and/or caucus's in one day, the Campaign will probably burn thru $6.5 to $7 million in January.

Therefore with the January Donation figures approaching $900,000, I would surmise that the RP Campaign probably will have $1.5 to $2 million to spend in February if all donations stopped today.

Remember, Ron himself said they needed $23 million to run an effective campaign on Super Tuesday.

There should be little doubt how important January 21st will be to the Campaign surviving past February 5th. Let's hope the RP Grassroots realize this and give their most generous donation.

Bottom Line: while our canvassing may be picking up our donation figures are dismal at best thru January 17th!! www.FreeatLast.com is crucial....

Right but more accurately......"The Hucksters marketing guru's are better at selling Pauls positions that Pauls marketing guru's themselves."

No body is better than Ron Paul at selling himself. Where the campaign managers lost there grip was creating TV ads that have actors trying to convice people that Ron Paul was the man. If they would make ads that just let Ron Paul sell his positions to the American people....in his voice....with clips of him in the debates.....interviews....etc it would work.

But there is something we can do to change that! Look at this TV ad...Read this thread then ACT LOCALLY!

RP's request has not been met by base...

* * *

IN THE 2004 PRES. ELECTION TOP CAMPAIGN SPENT 643 MILLION!!!

HQ SAYS LESS THAN 8 MILL ALREADY SLATED....not nearly enough... YOU MUST KNOW THIS....

**********

Stakes Super Tues.

1000 delegates up for grabs

21 states up for grabs

1,190 wins GOP nomination...

BASE HAS LET RP DOWN.....

RP asked for 23 million (20 mill was on hand/slated) for Super Tues Feb. 5.

850,000 or so...has been given for that 23 million ask in Jan.

We are far short for Super Tues.

GIVE NOW...this is it folks...now or never.

Campaigns are expensive--Freedom is priceless.
