Facebook Flyers for Iowa

Hi everyone,

I am currently working with my meetup group come up with some ideas for some Facebook Flyers advertisements to target Iowa voters before the important Iowa Straw Poll on August 11th.
With the Facebook application, we can target people by network like the Iowa State University or Des Moines network.
It is also possible to target facebook members by age and gender. This is the Facebook Flyers website http://www.facebook.com/flyers.php

Here are two screenshots of potential advertisements. One is more general. The other is targeted at young voters.
We are planning to start running at least one add in the next couple of days all the way up until the Straw Poll. That's roughly 15 days.
At 10,000 flyers a day, it would cost $300. That means the add would be displayed on a web page in the specified demographic 150,000 different times over the span of 15 days.
We can decrease the amount shown per day for a directly proportional decrease in cost.

If anyone has any suggestions on different text for in the flyers or things to add to them, I'd love to hear your ideas.

I'd also encourage others to take advantage of this advertising opportunity. It's very easy to do.

Question: is there a way you can just make the flyer accessible to just people in Iowa networks rather than the entire Facebook population?

Nice.. I think though, for me.. it doesn't hit home so much because every candidate offers lower taxes.... so even though he will, to most people it might be the "same ol, same ol"

you see what i am saying... pull on strings that "matter" to people... Like if you put "free beer".. everyone would notice.. try to come from an angle that resonants to them... I am out of school, so I might be wrong.. I am not so certain I have the pulse of students..... nowadays..

Yes, you can specify specific networks like the Iowa State University Network in Ames or the Des Moines network.
