Ron Paul has stated that he would eliminate federal funding for public education. How would he change this if he becomes the president? And also does he support No left behind act?

He does not support No Child Left Behind, and if his plan for education is like his plans for other entitlement programs, he would try to move people in the direction of personal, local, and state responsibility over time rather than simply cutting it off.

This is a really good point as people tend to FREAK OUT at the thought of downsizing the government and closing down departments - BUT WHERE WILL ALL THOSE PEOPLE GO?!

This is a well put explanation.

Bit of a shock to the system to think of it that way, isn't it?

A lot of people falsely believe that Ron Paul wants to get rid of public education. We really need to take control of this issue and say "Ron Paul is for local people making local decisions. What works in Massachusetts may not work in Kansas"
