The following could become our future if Ron Paul does not win......

The Bill of Rights amended by Mike Huckabee.

1) Congress shall make no law respecting any establishment of religion other than Christianity, or prohibiting the free exercise of Christian evangelism, or abridging the freedom of biblical discussion; or the freedom of the conservative press, or the right of people to assemble in Southern Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, or other Christian houses of worship.

2) A well funded military industrial complex, being necessary to the global war on terrorism and Islamic extremism, the right of the state to call any able bodied citizen to mandatory military service, for an indefinite period of time, shall not be infringed.

3) All soldiers shall, in this time of war be granted freedom to reside or dwell in any facility; public or private, without the consent of the owner, in any occupied terrorist nation declared so by NAU proclamation.

4) The right of the state to inspect and investigate the persons, houses, papers, vehicles, computers, and property of all people in the name of homeland security shall be reserved. In cases when immoral conduct, extremism, anti-social activity, or terroristic behavior is suspected probable cause or warrants describing the person or things to be seized shall not be required.

5) All citizens shall be granted the privilege of due process unless a crime of immorality, extremism, terroristic, or unpatriotic behavior has been witnessed. Upon the suspicion of such activity the process of law may be expedited. Until the accused has been found innocent of any such conduct private property may be taken for public use, torture may be used as appropriate, and the defendant may be made to witness against him or herself.

6) In criminal prosecutions the government reserves the right to perpetually imprison suspects until a trial may begin. Interrogation methods may be used during the detainment period. In cases where the crime may involve activity abhorrent, unpatriotic, or threatening to society summary judgment may be made by appropriate authorities. Although the accused may at the consideration of the court be allowed to hire counsel for his defense it will not be provided at taxpayer expense.

7) The right of the executive branch of the NAU to actively utilize all branches of the military to guard against civil unrest, provide local law enforcement, fight against enemies of the state, and to make war to protect national security shall be preserved. No time limits or restrictions will be placed on the executive branch when such actions are being taken to ensure peace is maintained.

8) Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted on the executive president, staff, cabinet, counsel, or advisers of the American state or the North American Union. A pre-emptive and standing pardon is hereby established to protect the leaders of the global community from unfair criminal or civil prosecution. The executive branch has full authority over this standing pardon.

9) Any rights not specifically detailed in this document shall not be construed to be retained by the people. In the name of national security and peace the rights of any citizen may be abridged.

10) The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the North American Union respectively, or to the executive branch.

Although the thought of this is disturbing, it would never happen. The process for Amending the constitution requires ratification of 2/3 of the states and there is just not enough states who would ratify.

The real concern is what huck would do with signing statements and executive orders.

All of the above could come to pass though one way or the other.

In the middle of an economic depression and a very bloody war against Iran and perhaps Russia or other nations the neocons and globalists could probably convince the people of the USA to do almost anything.

Huck has just been pandering, that's it. We would not get a theocracy, he is working with the CFR and his advisor Richard Haass. Everyone, get a grip.
