CNBC seemed pretty pessimistic about the stock market tomorrow at closing bell.

I noticed a collection of threads on here this morning of similar vein, although we don't have (and could use) a long running thread on financial worries. I haven't seen anything posted this evening -- so here is a repost of the threads from this morning, and maybe we can start a discussion here.

Yep, this is not looking good. All I know is that I put my money into gold and am floating in the clouds for the near future.

I'm wondering about silver. For the reason that it is our last backed currency, and more easily denominated.

Silver may be less manipulated then gold / dumping. Its high was $50 in 1980 I believe when the Hunt brothers tried to corner the market. If everyone starts buying silver, that might occur. I'd weigh that against wanting to buy silver with the possibility of losing some money if it goes down - which may seem small compared against the chance.
