Yeah, that whole thing is funny. I've been blogging at Slate.com for a while. Their correspondent on the campaign trail actually mentioned Ron Paul (first time in a while) by way of saying that he was laughed off the stage for making that point. Meanwhile, in another article on the same day, a major and respected historian was getting quoted saying that very thing (no mention of Dr. Paul in that article, I assure you. So, I mentioned this discrepancy in a blog post--actually two, one for each article.
