In this article, Pat Buchanan tells it like it is. Notice that he mentions that the ONLY politician talking about the problem is RON PAUL. See the article here as it appears on WND.

Oh, and now there's this:

Transit Panel Urges Gas Tax Increase

They tried this with that airport trust fund. You'll notice a surcharge on all airline tickets that was SUPPOSED to go to upgrading airports. The airports have not received one penny of this money for its stated purpose.

Bain Capital is partnering with China's Huawei Technologies in a buyout of 3Com, the U.S. company that provides the technology that protects Pentagon computers from Chinese hackers.

Bain Capital is Romney's company.

Indeed, the day of reckoning is soon approaching unless we get Ron Paul elected.

There should be a saying, "It's The Economy, Stupid". The reason for this is that everything will trace back to our economy. If the bottom falls out, forget about personal liberties. People will run to the government for security. The economy is like a hub on a wheel that affects virtually everything in our lives...our standard of living, our liberties, our jobs, our defense, our future, etc, etc. Citibank announced another large writeoff today and that is not the end of the sub prime debacle. Consider how people have loaded their credit cards. Hold on for the ride as it is going to be a rough one!

I read this article as well, amazing. The last bit about Bain Capital was priceless...how is a leverage buyout vulture like Flip Romney going to really help out Michigan or the rest of the US for that matter. He is part of the problem...we have had too much malinvestment, outsourcing, and decline in manufacturing so that greed heads like Flip Romney could line their pockets just like the rest of the Wall Street vermin. The credit tsunamai will be upon us soon...

check out Mish's Global Economic Trend Analysis, the Wall Street Examiner, or Nouriel Roubinini RGE monitor/blog... in part these financial blogs are what got me into Ron Paul.

There's also some connection between Bain and Chrysler, with Bain selling off portions of Chrysler. I'm not sure of the actual connection, and I don't have time to research it right now.

WHY is no one mentioning this when Romney says that jobs can be brought back to MI?

With an economy as large as a G-8 nation, the Golden State is looking at a $14 billion deficit in 2009 and a $3 billion shortfall in 2008. Gov. Schwarzenegger has called for slashing prison staff by 6,000, including 2,000 guards, early release of 22,000 inmates, closing four dozen state parks and a 10 percent across-the-board cut in all state agencies

As of this writing, the DOW is down another 209 points for the day. It is sinking like a lead ballon and gold is soaring. Who are these kooks that want to support Ron Paul when we have someone like McCain who wants to keep us in the Middle East another 100 years and finance it, or the Huckster who wants to tax us to death, or Ghouliani who wants to place a policeman on every corner while turning the screws on "troublemakers". Nothing like preaching to the choir!
