Sign Waving Info

Here is a little on sign waving that our group has found out:

Assign people to be sign wavers and others to be Flyer/Slim Jim people. It is a lot easier and faster to have a person without a sign go down the line of cars and hand out flyers.

Line the side of the streets with signs. Put two signs right next to each other to make them look bigger. Our group is putting out 30-40 signs at sign wavings.

Make a sign that says "Never Voted To Raise Taxes" This gets more Republicans to open their window then anything else. Remember this is who we need to win.

Our group tried several different corners by dividing up our group. One corner was about a mile from the first. What we found was that people would take info from the second group a lot easier then the first group.

One thing to keep in mind is that the law may not like signs that aren't actually being held by a supporter.

ALSO banners have been HUGE in getting attention, we usually have 3 or 4 banners when we do this
