Does Voter Turnout Lower as The Primaries/Caucuses Go On?

I heard that the voter turnout will keep getting smaller and smaller as the primaries and caucuses go on because of less hype, and that the voter turnout in Iowa and New Hampshire was large because they were the first states to vote.

If this is true, then it could help Ron Paul I think, since our supporters are dedicated and will come out to vote no matter what. Is this true or false?
