My former boss Paul Weyrich has a commentary out with this prediction:
"This brings us to 2007. I believe that the Democrats, most likely with Senator Hillary R. Clinton (D-NY) as the nominee, will win. The Republicans, regardless of who they nominate, will lose because of the war in Iraq. Voters want to punish the Republicans for Iraq."

(Yes, I've already emailed him about Dr. Paul, which would not surprise him in the least--I was working for Dr. Paul when I met him and have been, um, vocal, in my thoughts on the good doctor ever since.)
