View Full Version : Supreme Court rules on terminally ill patients' medications

Today, the Supreme Court ruled that terminally ill patients have no right to use medications that the FDA has not approved, even if there is evidence that the medications may save their lives. The reasoning is that an unapproved medication might kill them sooner than the disease would have.

Does this include alternative medicines? They're generally safer than chemicals and have been known to cure "terminal" illness, but I don't think the FDA says anything about them.

The government has become like a controlling spouse. You have to ask before you do.

all this did was make criminals of good doctors and terminally ill patients.
