The list of addresses that I got has people of numeous political parties. (I'm assuming thats what all those Rs, Ds, and Is are for).

Should I canvass them all, or just the republicans?

Or perhaps that question will be answered in one of the videos...

How quickly did you get your list after signing up?

Keep watching the tapes, they will give you some insight. Is PA an open primary? If so, yes you want to visit everyone. Get the right message to the right person and they will be a Ron Paul supporter!

I have a very similar question. On my precint list after the "City" it lists "codes" some of those are l (lower case letter L),L,t,T,G,g and exclamationg points varying from one to three !!!. I have not seen any key identifying the meaning of these codes and was wondering what they meant. I also watched the video, but admit I did skip a couple parts and did not see my question addressed, nor was it identified in the pdf.

Anyone have any answers to what the codes mean? I was wondering because I thought it may be some kind of key to the issues most important to the voters so we could place a specific slim jim to them?

when I first logged on, there was nothing..

but when I logged on today, it actually let me choose my precinct, and the list is available immediately.

I think there were some bugs that needed to be worked out previously.

There is a precinct captain sub forum for this http://www.ronpaulforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=254

and finish watching all the videos and reading everything available to you on the precinct captain grassroots page on the HQ site. almost everything is explained.

Hmm, I'm in AZ and also a closed primary here, but my lists only have 'R' 's so I'm not sure on that. Otherwise, yes, go to this thread for the symbols:

If your state has a closed primary, only canvass the registered Republicans...UNLESS the registration deadline has not passed. If the registration deadline is still yet to come, you can try and convert Dems, Inds, & other 3rd parties. Once the deadline passes focus only on Republicans.

If you state has an open primary, everyone is fair game. :)

Find your state, know the rules, exploit the rules best you can.

You can find information for your state here:

If you're in PA, canvass them all because there is still time to switch registration to Republican. That's what I plan on doing anyway.
