If we had placed 3rd or better in NH, we'd be up there... way..way up there. But yet this is still good!

If we could get 10% in Cali or more, the GOP might need to acknowledge out presence.

CNN just said 16M absentee ballots are in the mail in California and they are voting.

Here is hoping he is moving up further.

this is huge! The smear tactics have backfired again! If RP can capture the semi-racist redneck republican vote, he will win!

How the hell is that possible?

There are less than 30,000,000 registered voters in California.

So voting turnout is going to be 50% in a primary, before election day?

Yea right. That is false information. Hell there is not even going to be 16 million absentee ballots NATIONWIDE let alone just in cali.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I think California is much like AZ with a high absentee voting ratio.

Someone from California want to jump in here?

Here it is. 47% in 2006

Nearly 4 million voters in California are signed up as "permanent absentee ... In 2006, the figure was 47 percent. The surge in absentee voting has caught ...

The nice thing about California is that the normal strong holds of republican votes are not necessarily the big delegate zones... it's the smaller or more democratic counties that will have the majority of the delegates. Since each district now gets 3 delegates in California, we can come out of there with quite a few.

Isn't California winner take all?

Isn't California winner take all?

No. You win small sections 3 delegates at a time I believe.

I'm pretty sure it's winner take all.

Im not sure what the statitistics are, but I think we are polling a bit better here in california. Many Ron Paul supporters that I know of are switching from Dem to Rep, my mother being one of them!

They switched it to each county getting three delegates, this dooms a lot of the establishment republicans because they used to just try to get the orange county vote, which is where a lot of california republicans are, now orange county is just as valuable as a county with 10 republicans in it, they both get 3 delegates, should make it much more interesting.

It's time that all Ron Paul supporters in California participate in Project100Cars.com. Let's get Ron Paul a boost in California!

Btw, I started Project100Cars.com and am also the meetup organizer of the Beach Cities Meetup group. This is a non-profit project and I only do this to promote Ron Paul.

CA is pushing real hard to get everybody to sign up for permanent vote by mail status. Once you do that they send you a mail in ballot for every election without you needing to request one every time.

It is now set up so each congressional district is winner take all with 3 delegates each plus 10 delegates winner take all for the guy who won the whole state. I think 3 extra are for high ranking party members in the state.
