Well, he is right… The New Hampshire proved the point. Notwithstanding the possible management of the results, it is evident that not enough supporters were there to dramatically change the result in favor of Dr. Paul. One can win the presidency in the Internet environment, where there is a chance that educated and aware people are looking at the real news and have a good idea of what is happening. But that only gives us 100.000 donors, which is 2% of what is needed to win an election. And maybe 10% of what is needed to win the primaries. The rest of the voters – a vast majority – who are not politically wise are simply manipulated by mainstream media. Lets not believe that the difference in the internet polls and the mainstream meager results is ONLY because they do biased polls.
Ron Paul supporters constitute a mass of self assuring intellectuals who talk themselves into a frenzy collectively. However they do not “spill” into the disinterested crowd. Either this, or the majority of the Americans are in favor of the “American Empire” .and are willing to lose the Constitution and freedom to achieve that goal and the “Internet Spill” does not permeate them.
As Edwin Vieira says (http://www.newswithviews.com/Vieira/edwin74.htm (http://www.newswithviews.com/Vieira/edwin74.htm)) the rest of the Republican (and most Democrats) candidates all favor the continuation of an illegal war. But what we can infer from this is that although Ron Paul came up from the 2% to the 10% area, there is still 90% of the Americans who are essentially voting to continue Bush Policy. They still (without realizing it) prefer to emulate what happened in Nazi Germany and continue the new Holocaust, this time of Muslims.
So the future of the United States as a Constitutional Republic and the peace of the world and even democracy are at play now. And the chance to win is very slim indeed. It is time to find out the answer to the question posed in the previous paragraph. This is the challenge that lies in front of the Ron Paul Grassroots constituents: the illumination of 90% of their fellow voters who have not come into the “ intellectual internet club “.
What to do:
1) Well, those 100.000 grass roots donators should arm themselves with a one or two page pamphlet that spells out the outstanding proposal of Dr. Paul… Stop the killing of soldiers and people, stop the deficit and mortgaging of the younger generation’s future, stop the raping of the constitution etc etc all said in the subtle manner of the enlightened Ron Paul.
2) Go visit your neighbor with the pamphlet and display the facts and possibly convince him. Leave 10 pamphlets with him if he/she decides to jump in the boat. Repeat 10 or 20 times till you get 10 volunteers to do what you jut did with his other neighbors.
3) Share lists of those who are converts so that you do not visit the same people
4) Your 10 converts can recruit 10 persons each into the movement.
5) The stated objective of this visit is to convince each convert to go to the primaries first and to recruit others for the same purpose.
6) Each initial grass roots volunteer should collect the data of the first row converts and also of all the second row converts in the pyramid he/she starts.

But this job is not handing out a flyer, it is making a convert and recruiting him for work.
If only two “ 10 person tiers “ are achieved by each one of the initial 100.000 grass rooters, each grass rooter will have a recruited 100 persons which makes a total of 10 million. All data records go into a data base which will be invaluable. Even if 10 are not recruited by each volunteer but the circle is repeated one more time with 5 persons recruited in a three tier effort you recruit 5 to the power of 3 which means 125 persons, and again you are at over 10 million. If repeated by all these you have a landslide.
THIS IS TO BE DONE NOT BY PHONE BUT BY PERSONAL INVERVIEW AS THE COMMITMENT IS MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE THAT WAY.
Get commitments to go to the primaries. By the time the primaries are won and the election campaign starts this will be a snow job.
TALK ABOUT A REVOLUTION WITHOUT FIRING A SHOT… THIS IS AS PEACEFUL AS THEY COME. It is also easier than to recruit those who would have to get up in arms to defend the Constitution as many are advocating.
This sounds so easy that it verges on sounding stupid, but believing that the common person will wise up with the traditional advertising methods may be more naïve yet. Do not feed yourselves with self inflicted hope. Make it happen. I realize you have done a lot but more is needed.
I can not help as I am not American and do not live in the USA. Maybe some of you can approach the Ron Paul campaign center and dedicate time to organizing this and save your country before you lose it and your liberty as well. Would not that be an irreplaceable waste? The effort you dedicate now will be a lot less than what you will suffer if things keep going the way they are now. This is as or more important than any donation (not to overlook them anyway).
Spread this out of course, but more important: do not wait for the NEXT GUY TO DO IT, so find a partner to team up with. Organizing this effort is much more important than writing the next intellectual article. The internet is already snowed with those, the mass voters do not even see them.
