After last nights meet up we have commited to controlling our own media by purchasing newspaper, TV, Billboards and handing out DVD's. The links I have included below are 'off the shelf" ready to go without delay products that can be in front of your community within days of making a personal commitment to take this into your own hands.

DVD's are presently available. No need to reinvent the wheel. I put in on opening ordered for 100 and will hand them out this week locally. My goal is to hand out 1000 in my county by the primary. (only 1400 people voted in the last primary in my county)

Paper ads are available from here. My Meet up group is going to start running these ads in select local newswpapers.

Billboard graphics are available here. We are investigating the cost of billboards today. We took an instant pass the hat collection" at the meet up group last night (appoximately 30 people) and came up with a whopping $1,021 to start this campaign.

TV ads are available for local cable tv insertion on select channels like CNN, HLN, ESPN, USA etc

Radio ads are available here:

If we take this as a mission that will last until November....with or without the GOP....it is the next great Grassroots Marketing Effort.

Control your own local media!
Control your own destiny!

This is great news! Mississippi is ripe for Ron Paul, most folks here probably still don't know about him and we have until March 11th to get the message out.

I've been calling on the Paul Gallo Show, heard Statewide on Supertalk Mississippi. Today I called and talked about the situation in Iran, didn't mention Ron Paul's name this time but basically got the host to agree that the US cannot afford and doesn't need another war. I managed to get in the statement that the US needs a policy of ARMED NEUTRALITY while maintaining the strongest military in the world.

The host asked me what about a situation if there was a popular leader in Iran with pro-Western views, shouldn't the USA send him support? I came back with NO, as that would turn his own people against him since he would then be seen as a puppet for the USA. The host ended up agreeing that the USA has made many mistakes in foreign policy but equivicated by saying no one could have predicted the consenquences. He hung up right as I was about to say "But Ron Paul did".

Oh well, still a good call.

I'll be meeting with people here in North Mississippi today and this week, let's get this State going!

Hey that's still great. This movement is bigger than Ron Paul. We have to get people to THINK.

Austin put up 200 signs in Picayune.

Aha! We were talking about you in last nights meet up. We didn't know who the masked sign poster was. Thanks a million! I have a couple of people coming to BSL from Picayune this week to learn how to make signs and banners.

You are "THE SHADOW"!

Here's an idea I want to get started on, might as well post it here.

If anyone knows how to get these two photos to show up in the thread please do so, I think they have to be hosted somewhere and I forgot my username and password to photobucket.

Imagine driving down the highway and seeing Ron Paul bumper stickers on guard rails mile after mile after mile. This was done here in Mississippi for Trent Lott and it works. I would automatically start looking for the next guard rail just to see if it would have a sticker. And yes, the name is readable while driving.

This one just happens to have survived 4 years right outside my town!

Imagine Ron Paul stickers all over the country, every driver would see them.

Note, PLEASE DO NOT place stickers on Road Signs or in such a way that they obscure information or constitute a safety hazard.

I love the DVD's have handed out a lot.

Here's my trick. I wear a bumper sticker of Ron Paul on my back of my coat and buttons, Tshirts, etc. When people ask me who Ron Paul is and seem interested in politics, I give them a DVD. Everybody so far was pleased to get them.

These DVD's are the best ads we can buy. Dirt cheap at $0.39 cents.

I forgot to mention the bumber sticker idea. Very important and perfect for this type of guerilla marketing.

Folks we can do this! It also imbodies the very message of Ron Paul by acting on a local level and becoming self reliant.
