Looking to have some fun at McCain's expense? Go to Google news, and search for McCain. Find stories where McCain is being talked about, and post some variation of this messaging in it:

"I wonder whether it will be Feingold or Kennedy as McCain's VP choice? Perhaps Lieberman? Surely he's going to grab a democrat as his runningmate given his biggest legislative accomplishments have always come with a Democrat attached to his hip."

Go to a rally and tell McCain supporters that you are on the fence about McCain and need some questions answered, like:

1. Does McCain still want to intervene in Chechnya, where Islamic terrorists that have been linked to Al Qaeda reside?
2. Why does McCain support Musharaff? Musharaff let al Qaeda into Pakistan and has refused to go after bin Laden? In addition, ask whether Musharaff uses torture, so doesn't this lead to an inconsistency with McCain?
3. Ask about the Keating 5.
4. Ask about whether McCain is left wing, as the previous poster mentioned...Kennedy???? Feingold? Lieberman? Who's next, Hillary?

Yes. It is being said almost every day but we need to be polite, open and friendly. I don't like McCain but we need some of his supporters.

Who supports McCain? Some are - those who like mavericks, independent voters, patriotic old-fashioned types, republicans against pork-barrel spending. Well they should be groups we want to get for Ron.

As always give them the info but don't try to force it and get them being defensive.
Ron is the genuine maverick - McCain a washington insider who has a habit of working with the far-left wing extremists of the Democratic party.

One thing we must always push is that he worked with Kennedy:eek: to support amnesty for illegal immigrants.

For independents - make sure they know about his work with Feingold restricting freedom of speech. Ron would never do anything like that.
Also - to those who like his stance on torture - fair enough - but how good is that if we have a 100yr war with possible nukes - there will be much pain.

Comparing them on cutting government waste is a home-run for Ron. Ask how the 100yr war will be funded?

Those who like veterans - well Ron is one!

As usual there might seem little point trying to convert a hard-core McCain neo-con but the great majority of his voters just think he's ok, roughly represents their opinions and leave it at that. It's up to us to get the messsage out that Ron is more honorable and a better match of the things they want.

Don't shout, but asking him in a calm and reasonable voice how he can justify committing unborn generations to a middle east occupation strategy would be effective.

Or, you could ask him how does he reconcile the idea of coming home with honor, with a 100 year occupation. As he has made both claims at different times.
