This sounds like a good thing at first glance but some are saying it is unconstitutional. It seems to be designed to sidestep the electoral college. Any opinions?

The big states love it because it destroys any power that small states have. If you only need to win the popular vote to win the presidency, then no one will campaign (or care) about the smallest 30 states.
