I have no hope America will get it right. This story is sad on many many levels. These cops are fucking morons.....Sheep.

I keep telling people that virtually ANYONE can be found technically guilty of one of the many hundreds of statutory felonies in the US code, but amazingly, people just keep grazing...

The judge is supposed to throw junk like this out the door and privately reprimand the DA. The judges are determined to destroy our country with these garbage cases and many law enforcement officers think everything is a joke. They laugh at everyone they bust like it's all a game. The DA will pursue every case they can once they know the judge will participate in these prosecutions of law abiding people.

The judges get elected because the local papers don't make an issue of this and the people are working two jobs. They keep everybody at work and tax their paycheck ten different ways to fund our downfall as a nation. People feel helpless if ever they become alerted to this problem they know they cannot change anything all by themselves.

This is the same kind of corruption at every level of government. When the journalists no longer serve the people our freedom begins its downward track into tyranny and who is there to stop it? Rarely enough people find a way to gather themselves together for a concerted fight. The rules are so complicated and costly few are stupid enough to try to change anything.

I had been following that case elsewhere.
I is a convoluted mess, and it seems that the man has cooperated all the way through.
He had posted the transcripts and the evidence online, and has proved his case, not that it matters.
This is nothing but malicious prosecution.
I hope he can prove that on appeal.

BTW, he had posted all the gory details as a lesson to others. Watch your butts.

Yup and once you have a felony you lose all credibility, and no one will listen because you are one of THOSE.

A couple of police officers who also were at the ranged immediately approached him and started asking questions about the "automatic" fire, and he told them it was a borrowed weapon.

"Mr. Olofson, being a responsible person, went down to the police station and said, 'I'm in the National Guard. I know what a machine gun looks like. That's not it,'" Savage said.

But instead of having the issues resolve, Savage said, it got worse.

He reported that because of the malfunction, the rifle was seized and sent to the Firearm Technology Branch, the testing arm of the federal agency.

Okay, so we have a couple of retarded police officers, who have quite obviously not received training, or taken it upon themselves to train themselves, in firearms recognition and functioning, beyond their service sidearms. I'm guessing the weapon in question is an AR15, which is the civilian version of the M16? In other words it fires on one round at a time. All of this would have turned out to be a non-issue if Officers Retard01 and Retard02 were properly trained.

But sadly, no one in law enforcement exhibited any intelligence in this whole matter. And, in the case of the ATF, a lack of morals was quite vividly demonstrated:

ATF paid Mr. Kiernicki 'an undisclosed amount of money' to testify against Mr. Olofson at trial..."

Anything for a bust, huh.

Corrupt and stupid cops and judges. We're fucked.

If you would like to follow the whole story from the beginning ( with comments from the gallery) you may find it here.

It is long but all the evidence is laid out.
It has been a running thread for may months.

If you were to read it, it was an Olympic Arms AR15.
