For the 2008 election, CBS News is forging a partnership with one of the web’s most insane leftist echo chambers, a major hub of Ron Paul craziness, 9/11 Trooferism, antisemitism, and whacked out anti-Americanism: CBS, Digg Join for Campaign ‘08. NEW YORK CBSNews.com has partnered with community-driven news and content sharing site Digg to offer news and analysis of the race for the White House.

CBSNews.com will fuse political reporting by CBS journalists with the opinions of the Digg community. The site will feature headlines from campaign and campaign-related stories selected by the Digg audience through the duration of the primary and general election.

The site will also place Digg buttons next to articles and videos to provide its audience with the means to submit and rate Digg content.

On Digg.com, the community will gain access to CBS News’ video content, including “From the Road” coverage by a CBS team of reporters traveling with the candidates and the exclusive “Primary Questions” video series where candidates are asked character- and leadership-revealing questions.

“This is part of our strategic plan to open CBSNews.com to diverse news, analysis and voices from across the Web,” said Michael Sims, vp, editorial content for CBSNews.com. “It marks the first time we’ve featured content from a leading social news Web site. This integration not only empowers our users, but also greatly increases the content available to them. We are simultaneously exposing our content to the greater Digg community to help encourage more discovery and sharing.”

I don't trust CBS. Just look at their logo. That's all you need to know.
